Verse 30

छाइ निशासा छाइ घनकी निवड़ बनकी ओट। कैसे मिले सियलाल आलि सब गसी चिंता कोट॥ द्रुम द्रुमनि प्रति दृढ़त किएँ मन हेरै मूरति श्याम। टेरेँ परसपर मिले जब कोउ विरह बेधी बाम ३०॥

Night has spread, and clouds have covered the shelter of the dense grove. ‘How may Sita and her beloved meet?’—all the companions are caught in a fortress of worry. Steadying their minds, they search tree after tree for the dark form; when either separation-pierced lover calls, the two meet one another. (30)
