पीतम प्रिया मुख श्रमताजल कन पोंछि हित सुखलेत। जनु नागराज सुइंदु अरचत सुधा साधन हेतु॥ जब लाडिली काँटे चषुकि मचकति झुकति पियकी ओर। तब जात बालेँ लाडिलो गति होत बंधु चकोर २१॥
The beloved tenderly wipes the drops of perspiration from his darling’s face, as though the serpent king were worshiping the lovely moon with nectar for the sake of immortality. When the darling girl makes the corner of her eye quiver and lower toward her beloved, the lovely youth at once becomes like the moon-loving cakora bird. (21)
