Verse 8

तहँ मध्य खण्ड अनूप रचना बेदिका मनि चित्र। जग मग सुजाति बिराज मानो उदय बहु शशि मित्र॥ तापर बिचित्र हिंडोलना सियलाल भूलैं रंग। गावैं अलिगन मधुर स्वर बाजै मृदंग उपंग ८॥

At the center is an incomparable section, a platform patterned with jewels. It gleams in splendid array, as though many moons and suns had risen. Upon it is the wondrous swing, where Sītā and Rāma lose themselves in delight. Their companions sing in sweet voices while the mṛdaṅga and accompanying instruments sound. (8)
