Saar (Essence)

Ananta points to the timeless 'nowness' of existence, illustrating that while perceptions and time change on the screen of consciousness, the spacious being of the Self remains eternally untouched and infinite.

The 'now' of your existence is not a moment in time; it is untouched by change.
The entirety of my existence contains everything, yet has room for a million more universes.
This being, this God, the supreme is here now and it is you.

Father, like I'm not even on the planet. This is a more sensory instrument. It's been better in life, but to me, all that you have...

This is between what we have told ourselves to be 'I' for so long. It is still around, but it is not the entirety of my existence. The entirety of my existence contains everything, and the entirety is not out of place. It still has room for a million more universes to appear. Nothing actually takes up any real space within. It's like on a movie screen: you can project one picture of the entire solar system, or you can show one atom on your screen to be depicted. So, this function of space, which is like the motion of time, it seems to have some tangible reality on the screen of consciousness, which is what is beautiful.

Ananta

The other day in Satsang, it came up like this: that this 'now' that we are speaking about is not a moment in time. The 'now' that we are speaking about contains time, and not the other way around. The 'now' of your existence—you are here now—this 'now' is untouched by time. Time is just mostly a measure of the rate of change. So, stay with your existence. Stay with that. Does anything change? Because this hand is moving, you know the whole point of time is happening in the world. But that nowness, is it changing? Is it moving forward? Has it aged a few seconds? There is no motion like that for it, so it is beyond.

Ananta

In the same way, if you step out to the terrace, you would see this blue, panoramic view. If you just look like this, you will see a tiny bit. But has something really changed for the spaciousness of your being? This is the visual distinction. This world is projected on the screen. It seems the being is the same, untouched by time, untouched by any perception. This being, this God, the Supreme, is here now. And it is you.
