Achintya Bheda Abheda - Distinction and Yet Non-Distinction

Saar (Essence)

Ananta explains the paradox of Achintya Bheda Abheda, where the devotee experiences simultaneous oneness with God and humble service to Him, a state that transcends intellectual understanding and is revealed only through the heart.

Either I am one with You, or I am Your servant; these are the two options.
When I go inside I see Oneness, but in the world play, I remain Your servant.
Achintya Bheda Abheda means distinction and non-distinction that the mind cannot fathom, but the heart can show.

What are we in front of God? As Hanuman Ji said, either I'm one with you or I'm your servant. Those are the two options, right? If I'm one with you, then there's no mouth; there's no need for this mouth to speak. And if I'm your servant, then everything I say must be in service to you; it must be to bring everyone to His light through that Oneness. So, this is that which we cannot fathom.

Ananta

So, if you were sitting in front of Hanuman Ji, you would say, 'How can you be one with God and also a servant?' Then he would say that when I go with my insight, I see the Oneness, you see? But when I notice my world-play, where my egoic identity—although minimized—still pulses and has some power, then that one has to just remain as your servant.

Ananta

So, is this duality then? No, because you see that you are one. Is it non-duality? No, because you see that you are a servant. That is why it is called Achintya Bheda Abheda, which means distinction and yet non-distinction. And 'Achintya' means you cannot think about it; you can't fathom it. It's indescribable, but this is what your heart may show you.
