After dancing the Rasa, Radhã and Madhava enter the arbour named Hemāmbuja Kuñja and take rest on a jewelled sofa there. How wonderful is the beauty of Hemāmbuja Kuñja at dawn! The pleasant southern breeze blows softly, making the blooming flowers on the vines dance, carrying their fragrance through the air, and_ attracting the bumblebees who come to drink their honey. The maidservants slowly wake up and begin their usual services of sweeping the yards of the arbours and preparing scented water, betel-leaves, flower-garlands and different unguents. The sakhis look through the holes of the vines to witness the astonishing beauty of the divine Couple at daybreak and swim in oceans of bliss. When Vrndadevi wakes up she engages the parrots in awakening Radhika and Madhava with soft and sweet verses and songs While Srīpada, in his kinkarī-form, sweeps the play-kunja at daybreak goosepimples of ecstasy erupt on her skin as she hears the sweet songs of the parrots
