When has God ever let us down?

In reality, that is the highest way to live, to be in love with God and God over all things. When is God let us down really? If you turn to Him with full faith is always carried, always, not when I have stupid mental projections about what God should do. When I meet God in emotions, there is always, only given me reasons to deepen my faith, deepen my love. When is our love for God not been reciprocated in our heart? We want to love God, but God said, no, actually, balancing things out between you and the other universes that I am handling.
