Marifa — direct recognition beyond concept

So, Marifa from the Arabic rule, Rafa means to know through direct recognition, not mere conceptual understanding. So, is that part here like direct recognition, not through conceptual understanding? I often think in this example that if I look at this and I don't know what to call this, is it a glass, is it a tambula, is it a flower pot? I can't really tell. Thank you, I couldn't suppose. So, I don't have a name for it, but I can still use it to drink water. So, in this case, I recognize something in a perceptual way, but I may not have the concept of it. And still it can come to use easy. Now, there is a deeper understanding, which is neither conceptual nor even perceptual, you can't even see it with sight or here it is here in no senses can come to any use. Getting the one, it is that direct that doesn't even need the intermediation of senses.
