The most faithful husband sees only his wife everywhere

So I heard on one point that I did talk about this. And he used some language which is a bit hundred years ago. So I'll try to make it more modern in some way. So he said that the most faithful husband, the most faithful husband is that one who only sees his wife everywhere. Because there's only his wife exists for him. He is the most faithful husband. So then how does that apply in our case?
