Swami Chinmayananda, the cycle rickshaw, and complete poverty
1:23|2016|story
We are here in this gym now, mission. And Swami Chinman, he started sharing satsang. He was quite a revolutionary sage. So, he started sharing satsang. And his Guruji sent him from Othaka and close to Zishikesh down to share his teachings. And when he came, there was no money. So, what would happen is he was teaching a class of four people. And there is no money for any lunch or nothing. So, he would go the rest of the time, ask for some beach from the people of Mumbai and get some donation and things. And then he would, that's how we will be teaching four people. And begging for food and money at the rest of the day. Then what would happen is that, we want to do here this real urge to share with everyone. You want to get everyone to understand, you see, our bhiravantic tradition. You want everyone to understand the scriptures. So, what he would do is when he had some money, he would hire or cycle each other. And sit behind the cycle, cycle each other with the loudspeaker himself. And say, come this evening and see Swamich in man and then speak about the technicians. So, himself, in complete poverty. But sound like such a joyful life.
