Do you ask wages from a house you didn't sweep all month?

There is a great Sufi saying all this which I can't fully remember. But he said, do you ask the wages from the one whose house you didn't suite for the whole month? You can only ask to receive on that or we are in service too. Can I tell my mind and expect to receive on that?
