You Do Not Have To Get Rid Of Anything
The ego's seeking is unnecessary because you are already Awareness itself - nothing needs to be fixed or gotten rid of.
‘What’s in it for me’ should be gone. It should not come up.
It should not come. [Sangha Smiles] Okay, so if it comes up, does it force you to hold its hand? Like ‘what is in for me’ is coming. It is like Guru Ji [Sri Mooji] says ‘AudiHoning for your aZenHon’. Is it, is the audiHon is always good that you give it a ten?
No.
But someHmes. [Chuckles] SomeHmes is okay, someHmes is for everyone. If you got It [Smiles] what would happen? Or what should happen?
I will not know that I got It.
If you got it, you would not know also that you got it! Then what is the point? [Laughs]
The ‘I’ who wants it… will not be there.
So, who will see (that) it will not be there?
I.
You. [Chuckles] And this ‘I’ doesn’t want it.
Yes.
Okay. And now how is it?
Both is ‘I’. [Smiles]
Both ‘I’? [Sangha Ananta Chuckles] That has never happened. That is just ficHon, it has never happened. So how to get rid of that which has never happened? That’s the whole spiritual problem. How to fix that which is never broken? You found a way to it? [Smiles]
The ‘want to fix’ drops out.
How to sit where you are already si^ng? The ‘wanHng to sit’ goes away. [Sangha Ananta Laughs] Na, I am just pre-empHng your answer. [Laughs]
Another separate [inaudible]
No. If you are si^ng; you are not ‘wanHng to sit’ no? Once you see that you are si^ng, you are not wanHng to sit. Once you see that in you are Awareness and Awareness is all there is; You don’t need to get rid of anything.
Key Teachings
- The transactional mindset of 'what's in it for me' is the ego seeking and creates the problem itself
- The one who seeks enlightenment dissolves upon enlightenment - there is no separate 'I' to experience it
- Once you realize you are Awareness and Awareness is all there is, you don't need to get rid of anything
