The Self (I Am)

May This ‘Me’ Le| Without Any Support

The ego is poison that cannot be transcended through practices done by the 'me'; only when all tactics, strategies, and the presumption of 'me doing' are exhausted does the ego collapse and we discover our true nature.

Ananta

Don’t consume this poison of ‘me’… [don’t] consume this poison of ‘me.’ Because to consume the poison and then ask for an an#dote, so it is like you said ‘open and empty’ is not the an#dote for the ‘me’. It is the an#dote from the ‘me’. If there is a ‘me’ who is doing the open and empty, it is not open and empty. If you are lesng yourself be, without any such presump#on of ‘me doing’ like [in] a prac#ce of open and empty, [Smile] then already the poison is consumed. So my blessing to this One who wants to have his next move is that ‘May you run out of moves, may you run out of moves’. So that you see that, you are not this one. May you run out of all tac#cs, ploys, and techniques. May this ‘me’ be le| without any support. And if it is sounding terrible [Smile] trust me it is s#ll a blessing. May this ‘me’ be le| with no moves, no support, empty of any strategy. You don’t have to feed this one anymore.

Key Teachings

  • The 'me' (ego) is poison that cannot be transcended through practices done by the 'me' itself - seeking an antidote while still identified as the one seeking is still operating from ego
  • True openness and emptiness happens naturally when we stop the presumption of 'me doing' - not through deliberate practice but through allowing
  • The blessing is for the ego to be left without any support, tactics, or strategies - when all moves are exhausted, we discover we are not this 'me'
