How Can I Meet ‘You’ Without ‘You’?

The question 'How can I meet You without You?' reveals that the ego must dissolve for true union with the Divine to occur, as the finite cannot grasp the Infinite.

I am inviting you Home, inviting you Home to where we are One, where there are no two; then all of these things which may bother you so much today you will see them as nothing, Hny flickers of energy. So you will come to a beautiful openness and if you don’t come to a beautiful openness then you may come to that which seems like a beautiful (it may not seem beautiful then but) beautiful helplessness. Beautiful helplessness where like Guruji [Sri Mooji] says ‘You run out of moves.’ Because many times it does happen that like… it happened when I was reading ‘I am that.’ [Smile] I was so stuck because I was in my heart so connected I felt like ‘This one is sharing the Truth’ but in my mind I was so confused because I couldn’t figure what is this ‘I am.’ So I couldn’t leave and I couldn’t meet and it squeezed something so strongly out of me, just squeezed that all that frustration and irritation and anger. So it does happen many times that we come to a Master and we feel like ‘This Master is going to help me’ Hll you recognize his true intention. [Smile] His true intention is like ‘Get out of the way you, get out of the way. I want to meet God. I don’t want to meet you I want to meet God.’ That’s what the Master is saying ‘You, you are still here come on ‘you’ leave I want to meet God’ like that. So this feeling that we may have or this expectation that we may have that we come to a Master so that he can help ‘me.’ But when we realize that ‘Really it is not about ‘me’ the Master doesn’t care ‘me’ at all’ - that is a very, very tough realization to come to. The Master loves your Reality not your falseness, not your facade, the Master does not love your mask. The Master loves what you Are; because that’s what the Master Is. So that is the crunch moment, the moment when you realize that ‘He or she, the Master and whatever that expression of the Master maybe, is not interested in catering to this me’ only interested in finding some ways where you will let go. tiow can I meet ‘you’ without ‘you’? How can I meet ‘you’ without ‘you’? That is always looking for that sliver of the entry point. tiow can I meet ‘you’ so that I can bypass your ‘mind?’ tiow can I meet ‘you’ empty of this?

Key Teachings

  • The question itself points to the paradox of seeking the Divine - one cannot 'meet' the Infinite through the finite mind
  • True meeting happens not through effort or 'you' (the ego/self) but through the dissolution of the seeker
  • The 'You' we seek is already present - we cannot obtain what we already are
