Even the Broadest Representa#on Is Too Limi#ng
Your true Reality transcends all phenomenal representations - even claiming to be the entire universe is too limiting for what you actually are.
And this actually applies to any phenomenal appearance. If you take yourself to be this universe, it means the collection of all phenomenal perceptions you can have right now, then when you experience another realm and you take yourself to be that universe. And it seems so real, what happened yesterday and what will happen tomorrow. If you limit yourself in phenomenon in any way, even if you say ‘I am the entirety of phenomenon’ it is still too limiting for you.
And here also multiple I’s being created, multiple universes come into being.
Yes, and we experience them.
Which I is the real I, there is a question mark.
Exactly. If you take the broadest phenomenal representation, even that is too limiting for your Reality. Now you compare this statement ‘Even the broadest phenomenal representation, is too limiting for your Reality’ if you take this statement and ‘the last problem that you had’ and you compare the levels of both of them [Smiles]. You will see that they are so far off from each other. There has to be some sort of deep ignorance, [Smiles] deep silliness somewhere, Consciousness wants to taste itself as deeply silly [Laughs] - I am just this tiny object in one tiny world! Those who are open enough to be shaken like this, everything will be very simple. But if you are convinced that we are just a small object on this small planet [Smiles], then this spiritual journey can seem to be a bit of a struggle. But if you have a sliver of openness that you may not be this, then you are not collecting spiritual concepts to help this one, because most in spirituality, that’s what they are doing. They have this fundamental premise of still being this ne and they are trying to find some way to escape the suffering of individuality while continuing to amplify the individuality even with spiritual knowledge. Otherwise what is there to suffer in spirituality. Why is there a spiritual struggle? Master has said ‘You are the Self, you are this unchanging Reality. You are not this body-mind’. Finish no? But what do we do with that? (Most of us) we take ourselves to be this body mind and say, ‘How does this help this body mind’. Which is a negation of what the Master is pointing to.
Key Teachings
- Even the broadest phenomenal representation (being the entire universe) is too limiting for your true Reality - the Self transcends all phenomena
- The question 'Which I is the real I?' reveals that all phenomenal I's are limited representations; none are the true I
- Most spiritual seekers remain identified as the small self and use spiritual concepts to amplify rather than transcend individuality, which contradicts the Master's teaching that 'You are the Self'
