राधा बाबा
Radha Baba
Swami Chakradhar — The Hidden Saint
He hid in God so completely that the world could not find him.
“Only faith is needed. Once you have faith in God, everything falls into place effortlessly.”
Life
Born Chakradhar Mishra in 1913, Radha Baba was a brilliant polyglot scholar who initially pursued Vedantic philosophy and Shiva bhakti.
Under Hanuman Prasad Poddar’s influence, beginning around 1938, he underwent a dramatic transformation — moving from intellectual Vedanta to Radha-Krishna bhakti. The head bowed before the heart.
His renunciation was extreme: he never handled money, ate once daily, refused disciples and public recognition, and signed all writings “Ek Sadhu.” After Bhaiji’s death, his letters revealed his testimony that Bhaiji had attained jagrat samadhi. He passed away in 1992.
One Heart
“The Name of God and God Himself are not two. Where the Name is, God is.”
Teachings
Faith Alone Suffices
Only faith is needed. No elaborate sadhana, no intellectual gymnastics. Once genuine faith arises, God takes care of everything.
Naam Sadhana
The chanting of divine names is the supreme practice. For Radha Baba, Naam was not a technique — it was an overflow of love.
Hidden Sainthood
The highest spiritual attainment needs no advertisement. A true saint hides in God so completely that the world cannot find him.
