I See Only My Being Without Any LimitaHon

Now, before I'll look at the rest of the quesHon, Awareness itself does not have aZributes or quality. It does not have any aZributes or qualiHes. That which has the aZributes and qualiHes, at least in the terminology that we use, is this manifest aspect called Consciousness...Being- ness...I am-ness. And within it, that I Am-ness, there's the play of all of this manifest. But that Self which we are poinHng to, That is Nirguna -without any qualiHes. To have any difference individual to individual or any sort of uniqueness you need to have at least one quality. Now many Hmes those who come to Satsang like this start imagining One Awareness like most of you may start imagining Awareness to be like dark empty space. But it is not that. Something witnesses even that. Something is aware even that which is not a thing in itself. We just have to use the term ‘something’. That which is aware of even ‘dark and empty’, that Itself is neither dark or empty. Although we may point it using the term ‘empty’ but don't take that representaHon to be real. Your Reality, that which is your Unchanging Reality is so much beyond your mind can fathom....So much beyond what the mind can fathom. It's neither dark nor light, Neither big nor small, Neither up nor down, Neither in Hme nor in space. Don't try to understand it with your intellect because you're intellect is burdened by these concepts. Somewhere in your heart the words are meeHng you. The words are meeHng you because they are arising from there actually. That's where you meet the Master, that's where you meet your Self, your Being. So satsang is the that device which Consciousness has made for itself where it is meeHng it's own source, it's own essence as Pure Awareness. That which is prior even to percepHon, [Silence] independent even of percepHon. [Silence] So for uniqueness, for individualizaHon there has to be this percepHve play of qualiHes but your Reality is prior even to percepHon. That's why I keep asking this quesHon, (holding his hand up) 'Who is aware of the percepHon of this hand? And how do you know it is you?' Very naturally everyone will say ‘It is I that is aware.’ Did you have a percepHon of that 'I '? ‘No, you cannot perceive that 'I'.’ Is it just an intellectual report that it is 'I' that is aware? No it's not intellectual report. In fact it is very direct report. Even a child will make it. So how is that 'I', which is aware of the percepHon, how is that known? How do you know that? How do you know yourself? Everyone has this Self knowledge. But the mind has convinced everyone that they are just lost individuals but actually they are in reality only Awareness itself, as one Awareness. So that's why someHmes for those who are new to Satsang, then the dream metaphor is very helpful. Because we may feel for longHme that there are so many individuals in this dream and each individual seems to have their own quality. But when we awaken from the dream we realize that the enHre dream was within our Being. Within our Consciousness. S1: Is the Awareness is the same for all us or is it individual's awareness is different from other?

IndividualizaHon actually never happened. It is the same.

Now, we don't have to worry so much as about this rebirth theory. Because in my experience that seeming separaHon between Paramatma [Self] and Jeevatma [Individual self] which means that there is a very popular spiritual framework in India which talks about how there is a great Being, Big Consciousness and how that separates itself to liZle liZle pieces of consciousness who then go running about (actually I am not saying it in a derisive way, I am just trying to represent it) then they separate and then they run around and they suffer because they made themselves small and their job is to come back to the Big Consciousness and merge back in to that. Now I have to say that it's beauHful representaHon and it aZracts many, many, many to spirituality. But if I have to speak more directly from my experience I have to say that in the discovery I never saw this spli^ng up happen. I see only my Being which does not have any limitaHon. I don't see any dividing line, I don't see anything which is contained within this body and another thing contained in that body. All of it appears within my Being. All these percepHons, all these things are appearing within my Being. So that's why I speak from that direct experience. Although even that is just a framework and the true insight which happens with Master's Grace is really inexpressible. But to try communicate it as directly as possible, I have to say that this seeming individualizaHon of the Consciousness into limited aspects of Consciousness who then have to merge back together into one Consciousness is not my experience. It is only recognized that this Consciousness itself was playing as if it has separated itself. And once that delusion got wiped clean, once that misidenHficaHon with that wrong idea got wiped clean, I saw that no actual movement is needed to happen, no actual merging needed to happen. It always was as it was.
