Saar (Essence)

Ananta explains that our natural sense of existence is often overlooked because it is so constant. He encourages exploring this presence to realize that one's own being is the limitless ocean and the holy presence of the Lord.

The sages were not kidding when they said you are the boundless ocean.
Your presence is the holy presence of the Lord itself.
We overlook existence because it is so common, yet it is the one solitary witness of all.

That might sound like a clear point that I'm making. There's a story of Swami Vivekananda. Swami Vivekananda, one of the most well-known swamis to ever come from India, he had especially big—ever since he was born, he had some special supernatural powers. But what would happen is he would close his eyes and he would only see blue light. But he never mentioned it to anyone because until he was much older, then when he did mention it, people said, 'Why didn't you say this sooner?' He said, 'I thought this is everybody's experience.' Because it was so common for him, it was not a big deal.

Ananta

Now, this would happen to all of us. So, just existing already, you feel like, 'Oh, what's the big deal in that? There must be something more.' Because we truly start to explore this presence, this existence, this beingness, without using the misunderstanding which was the idea of limitation, then you see that the sages were not kidding when they said you are the formless ocean. Ashtavakra was not kidding when he said you are the one solitary witness of all that is. Guruji is not just being nice to you when he says that your presence is the holy presence of the Lord itself.
