जैसे सब नामन में रामनाम मुख्य पुनि,
रूपन में जैसे राम रूप अभिराम है।
सास्त्रन में जैसे रामायण सुवेद सार,
वेदन के मध्य जैसे वेद वर साम है।।
सरितन माहिं जैसे सरजू सिरोमणि है,
भक्तन में जैसे हनुमत जितकाम है।
तैसे सब धामन के मंझि रसराम निधि,
धामाधिप अवध ललाम रामधाम है।।

As Rāma’s Name is chief among all names, and Rāma’s delightful form among all forms; as the Rāmāyaṇa, essence of the good Veda, is chief among scriptures, and the excellent Sāma among the Vedas; as Sarayū is the crest-jewel among rivers, and Hanumān, conqueror of desire, among devotees—so, says Rasārāma, among every sacred abode Avadha is the crowning jewel: Rāma’s dwelling and sovereign of holy places.
